Dominique,

A Tele of that size is really missing in the Leica-M lens offer today.

The Elmarit is nothing else than a R glasses in a M adapted mount.
Not really the M philosophy.
Even if until now (and before the Apo 90/2) it was the best M 90mm.

It's a tendency: the M6 TTL is (slightly) bigger, the 35/2 Asph. is bigger etc...

And I will not discuss here the R8 + 35-70/2,8 + 70-180/2,8.

There is a Mint- Apo 70-180/2,8 (no ROM) for 3470 Euros at Alpha.
