Subject: [Leica] Norman 2D-ML [Non-Leica related]

I was at B&H yesterday morning and saw a used Norman 2D-ML reflector which
had a socket -- this allows one to connect the modeling light to the lamp
head or to an electrical outlet via a dedicated extension cord. 
Unfortunately it wasn't for sale.  The new model doesn't allow the latter. 
I contacted Norman Enterprises this morning and was told the one I saw must
be really old. Does anyone know the part number?  One clerk said it was
custom-made, but another said Norman did indeed make it.
Does anyone know anything about it?
