According to Beutler, the Potassium Iodide enhances the adjacency effect Bath A- Water (50 C) 750ml Metol 10 grams Potassium Iodide 0.001% ( not a typo!) 50ml Sodium Sulphite 50 grams Water to 1000ml Bath B- Water (50 C) 750ml Sodium Carbonate 60 grams Water to 1000ml Procedure- Take 1 part A and 1 part B and add 8 parts water. Agitate 5 sec/60 sec. Tom suggests a 2 minute presoak. Starting times- Tri-X/ T Max 400/ Delta 400 11 minutes 68 deg T Max/ Delta 199 12 min Richard Wasserman
