This was very interesting, if generally true. Can anyone suggest why this might be so? Might it be because you can work closer with an M? VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV That was Leica's answer. The M camera system allows the photographer to work closer to the subject, and therefore the 35 is seen as the system's standard use lens.
