RE: [Leica] M "standard" lens

My "standard" lens has changed over the years.  Some time ago somebody said
on the LUG that there is some kind of correlation between age and focal
lens.  That is certainly true in my case.
When I started seriously doing  photography (26 years ago with the birth of
my first son) I was fascinated by the 21mm Distagon on my Rollei35SL.  I
(over-) used it even for portraits taking pictures from my mother-in-law
emphasizing her big nose.  I survived it!
When I got my M6 some ten years ago there were several years where I used
almost exclusively 35 mm.  The last 5 years I am using most of the times
50mm and 90mm (No, I'm not 90 years old, just 51).

Three weeks ago we visited after many years my home town Hamburg, Germany.
I did mainly B&W photography using the 50mm Summicron and 90mm Tele-Elmarit.
I feel that this is the ideal travel kit for me.  It's light and the lens
not in use fits easily in the coat pockets.  The 50mm Summicron is such a
delight!  It captured so well the foggy and misty weather we had.

I wish Leica would develop another Tri-Elmar (or even Tri-Summicron?):
50-75-90.  The Tri-Summicron would be THE wedding photography lens for me. I
wonder what the technical challenges are to make that kind of lens and if
the market would be big enough for Leica to design such a lens?
