Warm light tends to portray skin tones better, cold light tends to enhance skin problems. This can be used for effect when you test it all and understand what's going on. I have never fully explored the concept, but I do know that the color of the light on the subject as well as the color that ultimately reaches the film has a great impact on the final B&W print. charles
