BTW, you made the right choice, leaving the lens alone....I don't like the idea of working on ANYTHING that's basically right, and am doubtful about the quality of today's repair depts. I know it's frustrating, but ALL your lenses will have specks in them in a year, if you use/ carry them, so shoot on........I know Ted and I both like to stand up and rant, so please don't be offended -- we're in it FOR you!!!
