Alan - Thanks for an instructive post on the innards of the G lenses. I
agree with you about the inability to manually focus, pre-focus, etc. I
still believe, however, that while it may not be possible to produce Leica
quality lenses at G prices, it must be possible to hit a price point between
the two....
