Leitz used the seals through the early production run of the M4-2. L for Wetzlar, Y for Leitz New York, and C for Leitz Canada. As you said, major overhaul required the seal broken. The original seal means the body has never been overhauled. I have heard that DAG uses his seal "92". I have heard nothing about any seal on the M6 or later model than the M4-2.
