I tried to buy an M6 neck strap but the shop did not have any loose ones in stock. So I bought a generic plain black strap, with a similar locking system to the M6 strap (perhaps it was an R8 strap, I do not remember if it has the Leica on the rubber pad). Works fine. As for light meters, I like the Sekonic L-508; it has both spot (from 1 to 4 degrees) and incident metering. It is, however, large and a bit expensive (around $400). For smaller and cheaper, I would recommend the Sekonic L-308, which has reflected and incident metering. Nathan Jae S.
