Like the lady that had the seven kids, one of the news magazines cleaned up her teeth in their cover photo. Several years ago an amateur photographer/full time firefighter won the Pulitzer and the news photographer that did a portrait of him left a coke can in the photo. When this photo was printed in the paper the paper electronically removed the coke can. National Geographic moved a pyramid to fit their cover. "A day in the Life of America", cover photo is a digital image, changed from horizontal to vertical for the cover.. Stuff like that, but it does make one stop and think. Most news shooters are very ethical people, but as in every profession there are some bad apples and it will only take one to ruin the integrity of the lot.
