I am reminded of a scene I witnessed at a large NYC camera store (Willoughby's,
in the 60's) where, while looking in the used lens showcase to augment
my only kit: M2 and 35mm Summicron. . .I noticed many (many) other male shoppers
(it was crowded) with various (and often several) cameras hanging from
their necks looking at the other cameras longingly. . .I think your post is
right on. IMO, most men are always wondering what it would be like with
another (camera).
