And I own Migrations and remember the controversy. He is very clear in the book about doing the digital work. I am sorry that it ruins your appreciation of his work. He is one of the most productive photographers in the country, maybe even the world. And most editors know that he won't send a manipulated photo to a textbook company without so indicating. Manipulation is a broad word for a very broad range of techniques (from film choice, filtration, composition on into computer enhancements) and we certainly won't agree on any meaningful standards here on the LUG.
