OTOH I overheard today a salesperson in one of the best shops discussing with a customer who showed interest in the R8. This (very competent) salesman did not comment in any negative way on the hardware itself, but he did comment at length on the unreliability of the supply flow: delays to get accessories, delays to get things repaired, difficulties to get new items, etc, etc. As I was leaving, the conversation seemed to drift towards the F5....
