Got a good one for you, from a friend of mine:

You want a COMPACT Leica reflex?  The size of an M -or smaller?
Take an R8.  Put it in a trash compactor.  It'll be much smaller
and easier to carry.  

Also works with R4, R7, etc.  except they'll come out the size of 
a minilux.....

And yes, they'll work just as well after these modifications.
