The R8, for example, doesn't satisfy those criteria. It doesn't have AF, and only it is only the camera-literate who instantly recognise the Leica name as a status symbol whilst every ignoramus knows "NIKON". The market Leica ought to be zeroing-in on are rich *eclectic* photographers, amateur or pro.
