Subject: [Leica] Leica? Zeiss? Sap?

Hi guys;
  I have what will undoubtably be considered an offensive question by some;
but curiosity has gotten the better of me, so think of this only as a
rhetorical question.......
  What with all the talk of using R lenses on Canon EOS's, I was wondering
if there is a Leica/Contax converter; then we could use our R lenses on the
(admittedly bulky) AX....
Rather than go out and buy yet another set of incredibly expensive lenses...
 Calm down! It was only a rhetorical question!!!!!

On another flammable note, I would just like to relate an incident that
happened to me while shooting with my Mamiya 7 in Suzhou, China...I had been
taking pictures of the various gardens and pagodas in that city with my
43mm, apparently oblivious to tiny droplets of sap that had been floating
down from the trees.... This was one of those situations where I was very
very glad, in retrospect, that I had covered that expensive lens with a UV
filter. The filter itself was ruined (B&W); I could not find anything that
would get that crap off (although we can't get ROR in Hong Kong......maybe
that would have worked). You just never know when something like that is
going to strike, although it may be more of an issue to those of us who live
farther south than most. Just something to think about............
