The lens appears to be coated, but minimally so (not multi-coated). Aside from a couple of dark specks (one shaped like a doughnut about 0.5 mm in diameter) behind or on the rear of the front element, the lens appears to be in good condition. Consignment price is $400 US. Has anyone seen or heard of such a lens? How would it compare to a Leica lens? What effect would the specks have on picture quality? Does it offer fair value (either as a usable lens or as a collector's item)? Thank you. Bill Cassing
