Subject: Re: [Leica] How to clean lenses

Ted:

Here we go again!!!!

Damn if I want to breath anywhere close to your underwear! Wouldn't even do
it with mine!

Just kidding of course.

I have never contributed to this subject but I will share with the group the
way that I clean my lenses. The first thing that I do is remove the dust from
the lense with a anti-static brush. The second is to use a mico cloth very
carefully. I don't like to use a cleaner unless I absolutely have to.
Usually, breathing on the lens will add enough moisture to clean the lense.
Q-tips come in handy in the edges.

Thanks,
Bob

Hot breath and softie well worn cotton undershorts! I dare say over a
period of time rubbing shorts and hot breath round and round on the
surface, one of two things will have happened: the lenses are "Polished
more or scritched a little." That's like scartched only less! :) (can't
see it with a loupe) :)
