However, as I followed the responses to your question, if found most of the responses too specific. Me advice would be to get a used model of a major brand with only the most basic features. Get a good lens, which can be retained and used with any enlargerin the future. I got an old omega D2 (late 40's or early 50's) many years age, and I naever had a reason to buy anything else. It's big and solid, and does all it needs to do for basic b&w printing. My enlarger cost $200, its lens $400.00. Once you work with any enlarger you will soon get an idea of what features you need and what your work requires. Enjoy your darkroom.
