This won't apply outside of the UK,
but I tried some of this recently (a couple of rolls) rated it at 400 and
sent it in to Ilford themselves for what I would presume to be the most
sympathetic processing (I've been rather too busy myself last month) and the
results from their printing were very disappointing. The negs look fine, so
400 certainly seems OK by me, but the prints were out of focus at the left
bottom corner, others were returned as 6x4 after having 7x5 requested. When
those were reprinted they were returned with fingerprints and scratches on
them, when they were reprinted they were returned with scratches where the
fingerprints had been.

The moral, which I knew years ago is of course,
If you want a job doing properly, do it yourself...
