Hi:

This web page has all you need:

http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/mounts.htm

It shows the register of lens flange to film of the M to be 27.95mm while
the K mount is 45.46mm . What this means is that if you ever did make an
adapter, it would be like mounting the M lens with a 17mm or so extension
tube. If you wanted to use your 75mm summilux, it would probably be
extended so far from the film that it would only focus on macro subjects.
You probably could make or get a mount adapter to fit a Pentax on the
Leica M, as they have that 17.51mm to make an adapter ring. Leica
already makes an R to M adapter. If I could find one, I have a Russian R
mount Fisheye that would be fun to use on my M6.

Regards,

Robert

know that I won't have infinity focus, but I should still be able to

particular...since it's a great portrait lens, I don't need it out to
infinity...Does anyone make such an adaptor, or a series of adaptors that
would alllow this?</bigger> <bigger>Isaac</bigger>
