Gary,

Put the glass first! Neither of the other two can touch the Leica glass!
Sure they're good but they just don't cut it as the Leica.

Now the question is........"Do you require autofocus?"  If you don't and
you have the dollars, then the question is simple.......buy the Leica 400
2.8!

Besides what it will do is open the door to purchasing one other modual
piece and you have a 560mm without having to buy a compltely full size and
more costly longer lens. Or in the other direction dropping to a 280mm.
Adding an extender or two and it becomes almost limitless as to the focal
lengths you have to work with.

The Leica modular concept is just great and in the long run is cheaper on
an over all bases than buying several other manufacturers lenses.
