They recommended that if you want brighter screen you can go to the one that doesn't light up and depend on the arrows around the screen to tell you which is activated. I think we are simply seeing what are the downsides of other advancements, kinda like side effects of some drugs. Funny thing is that with dim screens we become dependant on AF rather than it just being an occasional luxury.
