I have never seen an *un*-favourable equipment *test* in Outdoor
Photography.   
Of the US-based photo magazines, only Popular Photography will, on *rare*
occasion, allude *softly* to a product's shortcoming(s).  I've come to
the conlcusion long ago that the best way to buy photographic equipment
is to get it in hand on trial.
