The optical performance simply gets better as the years go on: the original 2.8/90 is a fine lens, the 2.8/90 fat Tele-Elmarit is a nicer lens, the skinny Tele-Elmarit quite a bit better, yet, and the current lens is, from every account, absolutely out of this world. Bud, I like the original Elmarit, but it cannot hold a candle to the later Tele's nor to the current lens. Marc msmall@roanoke.infi.net FAX: +540/343-7315 Cha robh bas fir gun ghras fir!
