It's quite obvious. The light is too strong. So you need to use the light farther away from the paper. Or use a weaker light. If your safelight is amber, or even close, it's safe, but keep it a long way away from the paper too. Dark rooms are supposed to be dark rooms. Just enough light to see what you're doing. The light should be such that your exposures are between about 5 and 25 seconds.
