I love street photography and mostly in B&W.  Even though I am an ardent
leicaphile, I must admit that the best camera that I have ever used for
street photography are the Rollei 35 or 35S/SE.   

All 35S/SE have Sonnar HFT lenses which are f/2.8 which, IMO, perform
better than the 3.5 Tessars.

In a nutshell, the best cameras for street photography are those in which
people do not take you seriously for.
