I have run across bags of 90 Elmar LTM's and nearly all of them had front elements with at least a few concentric "wipe" marks. I bet there are coincidentally an equal number of perfect-condition un-used UV filtres out there ; ) (actually this lens has a somewhat cold rendition so a skylight filtre isn't a bad idea with Kodachrome). I finally found an Elmar with perfect glass, but I ended up paying USD $200 for it because it was also in near-mint cosmetic condition.
