You might consider the fact that for portraits, which is the forte of this focal length, there aren't many times when you want to see all the fine detail in a blackhead. But, if you need a razor sharp lens, go for the Elmar-M and you'll get it...and for much less weight and money than with the new Summicron APO ASPH - if there ever is one..:-)
