Subject: [Leica] Good Deals on R8's?

I was poking around the Net and saw R8's advertised for just under
$1,800 after a $400 Leica rebate (in the U.S.).  I don't know if this is
with a USA Passport Warranty or not but it looks like a good deal
(unless Leica is about to replace it with something better).

Does anyone know if Leica has fixed the problem(s) with the contacts on
the R8?
