Bill,

Yes, I have used both Kodak's and Ilford's offerings with my M3. I prefer
Ilford's version. To me, the Kodak T400CN negatives and prints are flatte=
r and
have an unattractive tint. In my opinion, Ilford looks much more like nor=
mal
B&W. NOTE: this is not based on a scientific test, just my preferences.
