It read MORE OFTEN THAN NOT. I don't want to get a track record here as a total flash advocate, which I'm not. I'm simply a workhouse photographer who deals in PR, press, and wedding stuff and who knows what he needs and has to use within time limitations, location demands, etc. Allard is a classic case of why this discussion is getting so heated. Allard is one of the elite, royalty as it were. He shoots for NGhic, has a huge budget and time schedule to go in and play with his subjects. MOST OF US CAN'T WORK THAT WAY!!!! Though we wish we could. If we're basing light vs. strobe, let's be fair and, again, define what mediums we're working within. Frankly, I love Allard's stuff and would love to have the luxury of shooting that way. I don't. Most working photographers don't.
