Jim - Great post!  M6 and f/1 will get the darkest cathedrals in Europe with
no sweat!  My M6 has never had a flash attached and probably never will.  The
R8 has also never felt the weight of a flash, but, this fall when the new
Leica dedicated flash comes out, it will be done.  I agree with your analysis
100%.
