Subject: [Leica] plugging M4 frames into M6?

Last weekend I had the chance to look through a M4 viewfinder that
had only the 35-50-90-135 framelines. I was surprised how much
better the 90 frame looks than in my M6. The lines are thinner and 
go closer to the corners of the frame. I think  Leica offers an
upgrade of the M4 finder to the M6 framelines. I don't have
a 75 lens and never use the 28 since I have my 21 Elmarit, so
is it possible to "downgrade" the M6 finder with an M4 frameline-
- -mask?
