I was of the impression we were discussing sales prices, not production costs! It is true the Japanese are extremely good and efficient in manufacturing, but they are also equally good in sales and marketing. Their distribution systems are usually very direct without too many middle men. And their pricing policies are totally different from ours in the western culture. Claes
