Why not rent one or equivalent.  For used I'd check Shutterbug--always
lots of used view lenses available--though that's a big one.

Death Valley and several hours from 395 (depending on how much you stop
to see the scenery).  It is on the road east from Furnace Creek.  A
place to go in January, trust me.
