Subject: [Leica] R8 and Kodak HIE Infrared film

Can anyone tell me if there are problems using
Kodak HIE black & white infrared film in the R8.

I imagine the dimpled pressure plate could cause
patterning due to the lack of an anti halation layer on
the film and the foam seal around the window on the
camera back may leak IR. Also I'm not sure if the film
counter/sensor uses an IR emitting diode which may
fog the film.

I could use an M4 to avoid these potential problems
but I have some forest scenes where I'd like to use
the 28mm PC shift lens.

Thanks for your help,
