Thanks to those who responded.

I heard no strong objection to the rotation method so I think I'll stick
with that.  There was mention of foaming of Delta 100, for which
inversion counteracted this effect, but it could be developer-specific
since I've seen no such thing with Delta 100 and TMax.  It was also
mentioned that inversion might give better remixing of the stronger and
weakened parts of the chemicals, but I'm not really convinced that
rotation isn't also doing that.  So, for the time being at least, I'll
keep rotating away.  (Somebody referred to it as "twirling".  I like
that better.)
