I have put this unit on my black M6 and it works like you describe. I haven't taken any photos but the lens appears to be constructed every bit as good as one of my R lenses. The 200mm Telyt that is attached to the adapter acts like a 4X monocular when separated from the camera. I like the construction and material that was used to build the Viso II and adapter. I wonder if the lens can be adapted to an M or R camera and used in that capacity with the viso II and adapter? I would think that it would take a nice picture as the lens optics appear quite leica-like. Do you have any experience taking pictures with the Viso II and the Telyt? I bet it takes a sharp photo.
