Given that, even a $200 price difference (for the new TTL M6) is too much for me. hi nathan, i think, TTL is in first line a good feature for press-photographers. i know: the M-camera is really THIS camera for available-light-photography; and working this way without flash as well for press-photography has reached a very high standard in the US, as i can see. but there are situations for a press photographer, where he doesnt get the picture he needs without using a flash. and experiments in some of the really difficult available-light-situations can result in this, that the newspaper won't print your pics - because they allways want "bright, sharp" pictures and not "fine art"; very few daily newspapers in europe support the beauty of available-light. in the press-crowd, the big flash on a big camera is the standard. so, the purism "no flash" is not appropriate for every leica user in every situation. the TTL is a improvement for the M6, what can be worth 200 USD. shure: flash-photography is possible also without TTL - but with TTL, you're faster - and that's a point for press-photographers; the feature TTL doesnt handicap the "classic" use of the M6. anyway - i agree, that a photographer can not work hard ennough to improve his available-light-qualities. regards, thomas _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
