The 7 has a port in the mid front on the top surface of the top plate. The port is covered by a small round plate (a couple millimeters I think) that can be removed by a two hole spanner, or by turning with the grip of a rubber stopper. Once the port cover is off, a small screwdriver will go through the hole to turn a screw that adjusts the vertical position of the rangefinder patch. If there is not such a port easily found on the top of the top plate, the best next place to look is under the shoe. The Canon 7 doesn't have a shoe (!), so its port may well be differently placed because of that. So, look under your shoe. If you need any help beyond finding the port, ask again and I'll be glad to go over a method of getting the adjustment right on. - -Mark Walberg walberg@simmons.swmed.edu >Does anyone on this list know how to adust the vertical rf alignment on a >Canon VI-T? >Many thanks. >Chandos Michael Brown
