Donal, When I covered the Super Bowl I left a Canon F1 and 400 2.8 with Canon Pro Services (I was not even a member) over lunch on one of the pre game days. They rebuilt the top plate which I had crashed, reworked the mount which was very worn and fixed some loose play in the lens all in an hour for a non member. The same week I left a few things Nikon with Nikon Pro Services , which I am still a card carrying member of, and the local Nikon NPS girl was my film runner at the World Series so we were pretty good friends. Well Nikon did not even touch my stuff and I left it there for a full day. Who had the better service. And what color are all those lenses on the sidelines now. And Nikon wonders what hit them.... Now all I need to do is find a Leica Pro Services and find out how their loaner program works. :) Harrison McClary http://people.delphi.com/hmphoto
