I think it says a lot about Chris as well as the LUG when one sees the thoughtful postings which have recently appeared. Chris and I go back 20+ years. We are working in a similar field and although he was in California more recently in Boulder and I in Ithaca, we stayed in touch. A lot more frequently since I bought my first M6, three years ago! For the moment I can't find the wonderful picture someone took of Chris and me visiting the roof(that's all we got to see!) of a university high-rise in Brno (Czech Republic) three Summers ago. He had an M6 around his neck. Instead I've decided to post the picture of Chris giving a lecture at a workshop last May at the Asilomar Conference Center. Ironically, it was at exactly the same place that Chris suffered his first heart attack last week. The URL is: http://www.msc.cornell.edu/~sachse/chris/ Nothing special about that photo (it's just a snapshot) but please know that it was taken with an M6 and 35f1.4 Summilux (to keep it on topic!) And as Chris would end: "Best of light" - -- Wolfgang =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Wolfgang Sachse Cornell University http://www.msc.cornell.edu/~sachse/ sachse@msc.cornell.edu +1 (607) 255-5065 (secy: 255-5062; fax: 255-9179) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
