It has, as the most of you know, eye sensor. I used to dislike these auto-everything cameras, but I had quite a different impression this time. It was fun playing with it. Practical? Maybe not. Does it matter? Not at all. The only problem I have with Canon is that the brand name is named after a buddhism god, and being a Christian that is unbarably uncomfortable. :-( I think we sometimes are so narrow minded that we reject whatever is different than what we like. I learned this time that should not be the attitude. It was fun. It did not matter whether it will take good picture or not. It was a good toy. Maybe it would be fun to leave Leica at home once in a month or two and play with that toy. Different motivation, different approach, different everything. Maybe the only thing in common between the two are that both are 35mm cameras. But I prefer my little beaten-up classical leica for everyday use. Tom K.
