I think the issue that really needs to be discussed in this matter is if there is going to be a set of standards for images submitted to the LUG www page and what those particular standards are. Leica itself has had inappropriate material in it's gallery. I have chosen not to view Fransesco's pages as I have already heard enough on the LUG to decide that it would be inappapropiate for me to do so. For rather obvious reasons, I don't want to tell all of my friends from churches in the states to look at my images on the lug page if there are other even remotely questionable images on the site. Scripture tells us not to have even a hint of sexual immorality. You don't have to agree with my position to understand the Biblical reasoning behind it. Before this gets any farther in the planning stage, I think the Lug membership should devise a set of standards for images posted on the site and vote on it. Those who disagree with the standards can choose whether or not to participate. I realize that setting up image standards can be a rather divisive process. Depending on the set of standards, Francesco and others may find that some of their images do not qualify for the LUG web page and Francesco may withdraw his offer to support the page. If there are little or no standards as to the content issue, I and others will choose not to participate. Respectfully, Duane Birkey HCJB World Radio Quito Ecuador
