I have had several cameras get to where = they did not want to advance the film properly, usually it was on Nikon, = but it also happened on an M3 I used to have. =20 Just because it advances properly some of the time doesn't mean the = advance is working properly. The fellow I work with had a Nikon go down = on him late last year. His camera would advance fine, overlap a frame, = shoot fine 5 or so frames, skip a frame (as in not fire) and so on.. He = ended up junking the body as the repair was more than you could buy a = new one for, it was an OLD Nikon FA. You may want to send it in to DAG or somebody and have it looked at. And of course the best frames are on the overlapped area. That is some = kind of cosmic rule that is absolutely unbreakable.
