Subject: [Leica] Summicron DR Eyes Adjustment & Tonsilectomy

The "eyes" for the 50/2 DR can easily get out of whack and can quickly be
be put back in alignment by loosening the right hand slotted ring & turning
the lens tube. Again, this is an easy adjustment if you have done it a few
times before-hand or want to bother with an exact measurment & have the
proper tool for the slotted ring & a little strap wrench -- but since the
image
will move diagonally as the lens is actually a wedge ----- I again can't
place
enough emphasis on the importance of leaving this for the trained
technician,
after all, removing a kids tonsils is an easy job also; would you want to do
it?
