Subject: [Leica] S/Ns by Batch # [addendum]

In retrospect, I should have added that I just picked 1939 at random --
but it actually was a very interesting year as there were 6 different
Leicas
      in production in 1939:
      Leica I (standard) --- 1932 - 1950
      Leica II(D) -------------- 1932 - 1948
      Leica III (F) ------------- 1933 - 1939
      Leica 250 --------------- 1933 - 1953
      Leica IIIA ---------------- 1935 - 1948
      Leica IIIB ---------------- 1938 - 1946 ------- Marvin Moss (again)

> in Aug. 1939 #s 316301 to 316400 were made in black
> then went on to produce many batches of from 100 to 5,500 that year.
