I have owned two original Leicaflexes, three SL's, two R3's, two R4's, and one
R6. I still have one Leicaflex, two SL's, two R3's , one R4 and the R6 plus an
M3 and M6. I have never had any problems with any of these cameras. Not even
one! Maybe I have been lucky, but the gear has been absolutely reliable
through trips to the Carribean, Europe and all around the US. I never
experienced the problems mentioned here with the R3's nor R4's.
